Touring program:-
Day 01: Fly Kathmandu / Gonggar airport, drive to Lhasa (3650 m). O/n hotel.
Day 02-03: Sightseeing of Potala Palace Jokhang Temple , Drepung, Sera & Norbulingkha Monasteries, Barkhor Market. O/n hotel.
Day 04: Lhasa to Gongbuk (280 kms) via the Mila Pass (5000 m), en route we will visit the Ganden monastery, O/n guest house.
Day 05: Gongbuk to Nyingchi (259 kms) via Lake Phasongtso . O/n Hotel stay
Day 06: Drive (65 kms) to Luklang via Sechila Pass (4515 m). The view of Mt. Namcha Brawa (7756 m), the highest peak in the Eastern Himalayas is excellent from here. O/n guest house.
Day 07: Luklang to Gyatsa (65 kms) via Sangpo Bairup Monastery and Crossing Gonkha Bridge , over the Yarlung Tsangpo River.O/n guest house.
Day 08: Gyatsa to Tsedang (180 kms) via Botang la Pass (4800 m). O/n hotel.
Day 09: Tsedang to Thandruk and visit Yambulakhang, Thombs of past Tibetan Kings, late afternoon drive to Samye, over night at Samye monastery guest house
Day 10: Touring Samye monastery and the surrounding area and drive to Lhasa , hotel stay
Day 11: Day in Lhasa free
Day 12: Day in Lhasa free
Day 13: Day in Lhasa free
Day 14: Lhasa / Gyantse. Overnight hotel.
Day 15: Visit Pelkhor Chode - Shigatse - Tashi Lumpo.
Day 16: Lao Tingri / meet Nepali staff. Overnight camp.
For the trek you walk 5 to 6 hrs average per day; there is no steep ascent but rather a gradual ascent; starting in Old Tingri at 4300 meters and ending at Rombuk 4900 meters and Everest base camp at 5200 meters :
Day 17: Old Tingri - Start trek / Lung jiang / Rachu valley / 5-6 hours / Overnight camping
Day 18: Trekking / Taga Lai / cross a small pass en route / Zambuk valley / 5-6 hrs / Overnight camping
Day 19: Trekking / cross Namla pass with an altitude of roughly 5200 m / Rombuk valley / Overnight camping
Day 20: Trekking / Arrival in Rombuk and on to Everest base camp / Overnight camping
Day 21: Spend the morning in Rombuk and EBC
Day 22: Day in Rombuk and Everest base camp
Day 23: Day in Rombuk and Everest base camp
Day 24: Drive back to Lao Tingri. Overnight camp.
Day 25: Drive to Shishapangma Base Camp. Overnight camp.
Day 26: Day hiking in the vicinities of base camp, greater viewing spots of the massif Shishapangma peak, back to the base camp for the night
Day 27: More free hikings in the vicinity of Shisha Pangma base camp
Day 28: Drive back to Nyalam with stops at Nyalam Thongla pass for panoramic views. Overnight guest house.
Day 29: Drive Nyalam / Zhang Mu / Kathmandu .
